What to Expect on our Great Ocean Road Public Day Tour

Our Day

Departure and Return Details; Tour departs 7:00am Returns 8-8:30pm from/to your lodgings

The surf Coast
The surf coast hugs the ocean and is the most scenic part of our days driving. Famous for consistent and good surf we often see the dedicated riders harness natures power year round.  

  • An Aussie morning tea beachside (included)  

  • Stop for a photo at the famous Memorial arch   

  • Visit my favourite lookout on the great ocean road –Teddies Lookout

  • Drive through the seaside village of Lorne where we may spot surfers taming the waves off the point   

Wildlife and Nature in the Wild         

Just off the Great Ocean Road there is a place where the southern Koala loves to call home. This place is also frequented by a variety of Native bird life including Kookaburras, King Parrots and Rosellas – All often very friendly.           

  • Look for and spot wild Koala in their natural environment at Kennet River and explore the life of our most adored native species      

  • Stop for Lunch along the Ocean Road. (Picnic or restaurant lunch included depending on weather forecast)

  • Take a walk through Maits Rest rain forest to discover the hidden secrets that is the Otway National park. Giant tree ferns, aboriginal myths and old growth forest with the odd carnivorous snail!      

The shipwreck coast   

Within 50km there is many stunning ocean lookouts and lesser visited sights to immerse ourselves in. We join with
the Southern Ocean to explore the Port Campbell national park. Our stops are flexible depending on interest and time that may include. 

  • Gibson steps; Steep steps to the beach and amazing to stand and see the towering cliffs

  • 12 Apostles; The world most stunning coastal view!

  • The hidden apostles; Where are the rest?

  • The George – tales of ship wrecks and survival

  • The island arch way and Razor back – Unique rock formations

  • Ship wreck walk, it puts the entire region in perspective

  • London Bridge – The ocean is wildest here
