What to Expect on our Puffing Billy and Philip Island Public Day Tour

Join the local Aussie Bloke for a relaxed, light-hearted great rail and wildlife journey. Travel in our 12 seat ford transit busses (or similar) and step back in time to the steam era, a time of forced relaxation. Meet friendly Emu and other animals up close at the wildlife park. Explore the Island and hear stories from the Local Aussie Bloke who has lived through the efforts made to save our little blue Penguins.

Our Day

    • Depart Melbourne 11:00am from St Pauls Cathedral near Flinders St station (9am departure time from 4th April 2017- 30th September 2017) 
    • Ride the Puffing Billy Steam Train for 45 minutes - 1 hour (entrance fee included in full payment) 
    • Enjoy a light picnic / café lunch or afternoon tea in a Dandenong ranges or coastal region (provided)
    • Visit a wildlife park to get up close and hand feed native animals (entrance fee included in full payment)
    • Explore the wild ocean beaches of the National Surfing Reserve on Phillip Island
    • Take a mini safari drive to spot for wildlife in nature on the Island
    • Stand on the cliff at the Nobbies Seaside Lookout with amazing vistas
    • Dinner at own expense in a township on or near Phillip Island (at the penguin parade outside daylight saving hours)
    • Visit the Penguin Parade with the standard viewing option (entrance fee included in full payment) 
    • Our very own unique Aussie Bloke insights Penguin Parade tour
    • No rush back to the bus like other tours – enjoy your experience  
    • Return to your Melbourne hotel after the penguin parade (free drop off)
